Herniated Disc

Herniated Discs are the most common causes of sciatica. It is caused by a vertebral disc of the lower back bulge outward and puts pressure on the nerve roots of the sciatic nerve. This causes swelling and severe pain along the sciatic nerve.

Symptoms of Herniated Discs include numbness, tingling, and muscle weakness.

The inability to do physical activity such as running, walking, biking etc can all be caused by Herniated Discs.

Lumbar spinal stenosis is caused by a narrowing of the spinal cord causing nerve pinching. This leads to pain in the lower back, buttocks, and the lower extremities.

Spinal Stenosis develops in people generally over 60 years of age. The most common effects of Spinal Stenosis is difficulty walking and can be relieved by sitting down.

Over 70% of the cases of spinal stenosis occurs in the lower back.
